About Energico

Freight moves the world

Think about one lamp. The cotton shade was woven at a fabric mill that trucked its cloth to a workshop in Hanoi, Vietnam. The brass neck and socket that hold the bulb were cast at a foundry two provinces over. Even the cardboard box it ships in began as wood pulp in another country entirely. All of it converged on one workbench and became one lamp, packed with a few thousand others into a forty-foot container that crossed the Pacific, cleared a port in Newark, and rode a truck up I-78 to a distribution warehouse in Allentown. It didn't stop there. A linehaul run carried it to a fulfillment center outside St. Louis, where someone picked it and packed it the day the order came in. Then a regional hub. Then a local delivery station. Then a truck working a neighborhood route. It ends on a doorstep.

Thousands of miles. Hundreds of hands. One lamp. Most people never think about that chain. We think about it constantly, and building the connection points that hold it together is the business we're in.

Where we came from

Energico wasn't started by trucking-industry insiders. It was started from the other side of the dock — years spent in warehouses, packing orders, loading trailers, and watching the difference between carriers who kept their promises and carriers who didn't. Somewhere between the packing stations and the loading doors, a conviction took hold: the road is where the whole chain keeps its word, and it deserves a company built around exactly that. That's Energico. We don't try to be every link in the chain — our piece is a narrow one on purpose: dedicated operations, done right, out of the Lehigh Valley.

How we treat people

Like family. Not the poster-in-the-breakroom kind. The kind where schedules stay consistent, trucks are maintained like our own families ride in them, and no load is ever worth more than the person hauling it. If that sounds like a company you'd want to ship with, or drive for, we should talk.
